Nigel Spencer An acknowledged expert in fine tuning customer-focused B2B, Nigel enjoyed a distinguished career within the LloydsTSB retail banking group as a long term colleague of Ross Brice and like him an innovator both in operational management and training for performance at national level.

There is a strong sales spin within Nigel’s very varied experience, obviously including retail banking during decades of radical change in that industry but also in the far more challenging and subtle arena of Regulated Financial Services.

For about 15 years of his banking career Nigel was a Group Director, responsible for more than 20 branches in a regional cluster, leading staff teams of more then 300, delivering in spades on demanding business targets, regularly producing top ten results out of over 100 groups nationally as he was moved to bolster underperforming areas.

Teamwork is the heart of retail success and coaching is what brings teams to peak performance. Nigel was involved with Ross in forging a history of stunning results through training and mentorship, giving the bank its deserved reputation as No 1 in the industry, often producing measured results of +50% in performance among individuals who attended their innovative courses.

During his time as a Senior Tutor at the bank’s Telford Management Training Centre, Nigel worked with Ross to devise Management and Sales Training courses for both the regulated and non regulated arenas that were rolled out to all UK Bank Managers in the group, delivered to over 1000 people each year and are still the basis of the bank’s Sales Training programmes. One of these was the first ever to gain Chartered Institute of Marketing accreditation.

An extrovert and an innovator, Nigel is a sportsman by inclination, a great coach to have by your side when you are looking for results and someone who digs deep to go outside the box in the search for solutions.

Now retired from LloydsTSB, Nigel is only too happy to be teaming up again with his long term friend and colleague, Ross Brice, together offering a unique combination of Training and Coaching.
